Step-by-Step Guide: Decorating Your Trunk with Household Items

Create an eye-catching trunk without breaking the bank using items you already have!

1. Choose a Theme:

   • Angels and Stars
   • Christmas Gifts Galore
   • Shepherds and Sheep
2. Gather Household Items:
   • Blankets and Sheets: For backdrops or costumes
   • Christmas Decorations: A Christmas tree and string lights will add sparkle!
   • Cardboard Boxes: Create props like faux presents, trees, or characters
   • Craft Supplies: Use paper, markers, glue, and scissors for DIY decorations
   • Stuffed Animals and Toys: Incorporate them into your theme as animals around the manger
3. Dress Up:

Add Some Christmas Fun to Your Trunk!

• Setup: Create or use cutouts of sheep and shepherds. Attach rings to the sheep's backs.
• How to Play: Kids toss small rings (easily made from paper plates or plastic) and try to "catch" them on the sheep.

"Angel Halo" Photo Booth

• Setup: Decorate the trunk with an angel theme. Provide simple halo headbands for kids to wear.
• How to Play: Kids can take photos wearing halos and standing in front of a backdrop that looks like clouds or stars.
